«That's really brilliant! Yesterday, Mercanta was wondering why no letters were coming. I suggested that it was probably no longer fashionable to write letters? She'll be delighted with the letter, go and see her straight away!»
Emerald: “Hello, good morning! You guys really look like a great story! Do you have a moment for me? We got a letter from a girl! She writes about how she can get immersed in your stories and that she thinks Jiminy's mouse ear stage is so funny and how the cat surprised us in the park and would love to know what you get up to when you're at home.”
Mercanta puts her notes to one side: «Mail? A real letter? How nice is that! Yesterday I was wondering with Clay whether the letters to us had been lost? Clay said that writing letters was perhaps no longer fashionable. Tell her that we're currently researching our trip on the BLUENOSE and are working out which of us will interview whom.»
«Because we want to find out,» adds Kwikkeneezy, «how we found Captain Silver from all over the world. I've just realized that the story of the BLUENOSE alone will fill several pages.»
Mercanta: «I'm so delighted that we've actually received mail! We'll celebrate with a donut. Please tell her that we're very happy about her letter and her question, and please give her our heartfelt thanks!»
Emerald: «I think that everyone is as busy as the busy mice in JUMPING MOUSE, and they are always doing other things rather than taking the time to write to us.»
Now I see that SilverGold isn't at her typewriter and ask: «Is Silbergold already doing research?”
Mercanta: «Yes, she is. But on a different matter. She's with Hexe Rosenherz and wants to find out why people are talking so badly about witches.»

Linda, Jiminy and Doc Krikkety are in the SNOOOOOW!!! WOW...how did they get there? Maybe with the dragons from the stories of Sternenmädchen and Fox? Real S N O W !! WHAT A JOY !!!
They hurtle down the mountain on cones and roll over each other in the crunching snow.
They have built the biggest snow mouse you are sure to find anywhere in the world!
The snow mouse ears have become real works of art and Krikk has been looking for round stones for their eyes. I wonder ow much longer there will be snow? Everything is changing so quickly.
